What is it?
Diabetes is a medical condition where the body is unable to properly regulate blood sugar levels. This results in high blood sugar levels in the body which can lead to a variety of serious health issues if left unmanaged.

Prevention and Care
What we do to prevent these foot complications:

Perform vascular assessments with a ultrasound doppler and/or toe pressure.

Perform a neurological test to assess the protective sensation of the feet.

Assess any skin integrity issues and ensure skin is intact.

Provide a high quality skin and nail treatment.

Provide diabetic foot care education and advice.

Provide a full report to your GP.
